The Fleharty sisters grew up on the family ranch in Grass Range, a quiet section of Central Montana, where horses and family are the center of life. Surrounded by good friends, good food, and countless cousins, the Fleharty girls nurtured their various interests in a community that teaches its youth to work hard, think big, and never forget where you came from. One way or another, they all wound up in Texas, where they have held onto those values and applied them to their professional and personal lives.
Katie Harvey is the businesswoman. With a BA in Marketing and a minor in Accounting from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, she has worked for eleven years for a major Western manufacturing company based in Texas in a variety of capacities, including sales and accounts receivable. She also assisted her husband in starting a concrete construction business that they own and operate together. Katie’s corporate experience provides her with a keen understanding of what it takes to sell a product at every level, and her experience as a successful small business owner provides her with a solid knowledge base of entrepreneurship.
Tami Fleharty has been creating beautiful art since she could hold a pencil. She graduated from the University of Montana Western in Dillon in 1997 with a degree in Advertising Design and Business, and took her skills to join her sister in Texas. In just a few short years, she worked her way up to Lead Graphic Designer for a Western manufacturing company, where she oversees development of the product catalog and marketing materials. Although Tami’s technical design skills are impressive, it is her natural creativity that fuels her projects. This combination of skill and ingenuity is what Tami brings to the Aspire Designs team.
Joey Fleharty is the brainy baby sister of the trio. Somehow she managed to graduate suma cum laude with a BA in Business Administration and a minor in Computer Applications from the rigorous Honors College at the University of Montana, all while maintaining a spot on the UM rodeo team. With a degree emphasis in Information Systems, Joey joins her sisters to round out the skill set needed for this unique Web design company. Unable to leave her love of rodeo behind after graduation, Joey worked as an assistant rodeo coach at Ranger College in Ranger, Texas until she became a full time freelance Web designer.
